  • Details: Vintage Kinmen/ Chinese Porcelain Yongle Style Vase W/ Dragon, Phenix & Inscription Inscription to US Army Lt. Col. as pictured. It was purchased from the estate of a Lt. Col. in the United States Army. This is one of 2 inscribed porcelains from this estate. Please send us a message if you are interested in the other piece, or search “Kinmen” in our store. The inscription on the porcelain as translated In part by Google says: Commemoration of the founding of the United States in 193. Inside the vase was a note card that reads: “To KDCAT, wishing you continued prosperity on your 193rd Independence Day. From Yen Hsiu-chuan, Chief, Kinmen County Government.” We believe the note was written in 1969 given the subject matter. Kinmen County appears to be In Taiwan or a small island close to Taiwan.

  • Condition: minor factory imperfections (small divots in the porcelain) and a small chip on the rim as pictured. It is not marked.

  • Size: approximately 15 x 8 x 8 inches. Weighs approximately 5 pounds 11 ounces.
